Operation “You are fashion!”

You have to admire the Paris Fashion Week? You dream about going on stage and play pin-up as the greatest fashion models? Want to make your stay in Paris more fun and memorable? So see you at the September 8 to October 2, 2010 Galeries Lafayette will be held where the “largest parade in the world. With the “La Mode, it’s you!” You will live a unique experience that will mark your stay forever in the world capital of fashion. With over 10,000 participants, you will enjoy the services industry professionals with a decryption of your look by bloggers fashionista, a unique hairstyle offered by L’Oreal, makeup signed Yves Saint Laurent and a shoot done by a professional photographer. Guinness World Records will be present to approve the parade gigantic, and the casting director of Galeries Lafayette will be looking muses 50, men or women, for the catalog Galleries of reentry. Fête des Tuileries

From 26 June, the Jardin des Tuileries embalms the candyfloss and the smell of hot waffle or churros. The reason? The installation of a sixty fairground in the heart of the historic garden in Paris. Thus, until August 22, devote themselves to the great pleasure of shooting a rifle or bumper cars, while the kids try fishing for ducks! Of course, the inevitable wooden horses, ghost train, Ferris wheel and ice palace will be at the rendezvous.

Cyrano de Bergerac

Michel Vuillermoz, 515th member of the French Comedy, plays Cyrano de Bergerac larger than life. He fights with panache and poetry, one against all, but compelling, that of Roxane, his cousin, he loves. But Roxane loves Christian, the embodiment of beauty and youth. Cyrano, afflicted with a prominent nose is ugly. The fate up in the same regiment, the two men, who, against all odds, become friends. Christian confessed his embarrassment at not knowing seduce Roxane, devoid of spirit when it comes to love. Cyrano decides to help her conquer her, whispering in his words and letters. Rivals combine, and the ploy works. Roxane falls for Christian. But soon, no more stand not being loved for himself, the young man asks Cyrano to confess everything to the young woman, then killed in combat. Cyrano chooses to remain silent. Years later, when mortally wounded Cyrano, Roxane include in a final conversation, the truth and the greatness of his sacrifice and the fight he has spent his entire life. From Cyrano de Bergerac is entered in the legend by becoming a character known as Hamlet or Don Quixote.

Faim des dinosaures

Originally scheduled until May 2010, the exhibition at the Palais de la Découverte, “The hunger of dinosaurs”, play overtime until 1 September. An exhibition that sent shudders of delight young and old, with a staging breathtaking, and above all, thanks to animated life-size dinosaurs! Assume the role of the paleontologist and learn about dietary habits of Brachiosaurus, the velociraptor without forgetting the tyrannosaur. Throughout the exhibition you are conducting the survey for your own mind through the life-size skeletons of nature and the reproduction of an excavation and the work of clearing of bones.

Animal

Sometimes feared or respected, operated, or cherished destroyed, the animal has always fascinated man. Source of inspiration, it is one of the major figures of Art. Walls prehistoric to contemporary most disconcerting, the animal has always been there. The exhibition “Animal” of the Museum of Decorative Arts presents the relationship of man to the animal from different perspectives and eras: furniture, tableware, fashion, jewelry and many other surprises to face. The animal thus becomes the mirror of the man who lends his own character traits, such as pride, cunning and loyalty. The animal becomes matter, wool to feathers, creating new jobs as plumassier, or is subject, giving a certain animal to a woman wearing a fur coat. An interesting exhibition helps us understand the complex relationship that has existed for centuries between man and animal.
